Morning Glory ( Inspirational Monday )

Today on Morning Glory it was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was "The Light Will Shine." Our text today  was Ephesians 5:13.

But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth manifest is light.

God's Word Translation

Light exposes the true character of everything .

Today our inspiration was understanding what light will do or better yet the power of understanding, revelation and the unveiling of truth. Exposure is a wonderful thing. However sometimes that exposure will bring joy, it will also bring hurt and pain, it will bring / show the reality of a thing.

Jesus reminds us to walk in the light for he is the light according to John 8:12. Jesus says,"Walking in him there is no darkness, his light brings life." Our aim in life should be to please Christ. Pleasing Christ suggest to you and I that we must be in him and he in us. When the light of Christ shines on us and through us we are able to see him for who he really is but most importantly we are able to see ourselves for who we really are.

Paul here in our text in Ephesians 5:13 let's us know that all things made, the understanding or the revelation of it is revealed by light. In other words Paul is saying light represents truth. Paul tells the church at Ephesus that if what you are dealing with is exposed, unveiled that is truth it is light. Paul was explaining in this  text the difference  between what a person that is born again or saved should act like. Paul gives a list of things  concerning the character of the Holy Spirit and that same character you and I should  posses. Paul also reminds them of worldly character that they were once apart of but he also explains that should  have no part in that type of character since they are walking  in the light, that goes for you and I as well. Paul says you now have the light on the inside of you, darkness should not be where you want to be. Just like there is a separation of day and night, Paul says you and I should separate ourselves from those who walk darkness.

When revelation or understanding about a certain subject matter or thing appears the proper application can be applied. When light is shined or better yet when Jesus shows up truth shows up. The God's Word Translation helps us even better  to understand our text for today. Light exposes the character of everything. If there is revelation or understanding  to be gotten you will need light. Yes you and I need Christ, he is the light.

If there is confusion your life, if you need answers from God concerning a certain matter or situation walk in the light, the light of Jesus Christ, he is the light.

Things you need to know about TRUTH

1. Truth comes when that which unknown is revealed
2. Truth comes when you totally operate in the perfect will of God
3. Truth comes when you relinquish your thoughts and ideas about a certain subject to God

In your spare time read Ephesians 5 in it's  entirety.

Morning Glory (Praise Him Friday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Praise Him Friday. Our message  today was " Thank God For His Wonderous Works". Our scripture today was Psalms 72:18.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Isreal, who only doeth wondrous things.

Today on Morning Glory our inspiration is about thanking God for his wondrous  works that he has done. God has done some amazing things in your life as well as in my life. If we are totally honest we could agree that we really don't  deserve the goodness of the Lord.  If we are really honest we don't  deserve His mercy, love , power or His grace. The reality of it all is that God loves  you and I so much that even when we don't deserve his wondrous works  he still blesses us and gives us just what we need.

In our text today, David is praying to God. David is offering up prayers to God on behalf  of Solomon  the king. In his prayer  he is asking God for things on his behalf while thanking God for the things that he has done on Solomon's behalf. David is not praying a selfish  prayer at all. If you read the text you will discover throughout the reading he isn't  praying for himself.  There are times in our lives that when we go to God in prayer it should be for someone else.

Today give God praise for him only doing the wondrous things in your life. Today not only thank God for the wondrous things  he has done in your life but thank him for the wondrous things he has done in the lives of those you are connected too as well.

God deserves our praise. God is worthy  of our praise. God inhabits the praises of his people. Never get to the place in your  life that you are silent. Psalms  also reminds us that the Redeemed of the Lord,  should  say so. You and I don't  have the right to keep silent. If God has done something  for you, share it, you never know it really  might bless someone.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Isreal, who only doeth wondrous things.

Morning Glory (Take Off Thursday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Take off Thursday. Our message today was "You Need to Know". Our scripture today was Ephesians 1:18 -19.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened,  that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

Today on this Take off Thursday you and I need to know. What do we need to know? We need to know the hope of his calling concerning  our lives and why Jesus came. What do we need to know? We need to know what our inheritance is as a believer in the Body of Christ. What do we need to know? We need to know the greatness of his power that we posses, through the working of  his mighty power.

Today is a good day to get the wisdom of God as to why you and I are apart of the Kingdom of God. It is so important that you and I understand why Christ came, why he died for us and ultimately will soon return for us. We also need to know what is our Kingdom assignment, you and I need to know our purpose.

Once you and I have accepted Christ we go from relating to relationship. It is in the relationship that we understand who Christ is and how the workings of the Holy  Spirit  help us to be all that we can be in him. If we don't  know the benefits  or better yet our inheritance  we are not maximizing  our fullest  potential  here in the earth while serving the saviour.

Paul speaking here to the church at Ephesus, his desire was for them to know. Paul wanted then to be enlightened, in other words he wanted them to know why He called them, their inheritance because of the call, and the exceeding greatness of his power to the saints. Just like Paul I want you to be full of understanding, I want you to know your  purpose, your inheritance and how powerful you are as a believer or better yet a member of the Body of Christ.

Parents want their children to know their name, where they live, where they came from, who their grandparents are, who their cousins are, aunts,  uncles.....etc. They want to make sure that as a parent  their child knows their inheritance and what they need to do to carry on the family name. No doubt this is what Paul was trying to convey to the church at Ephesus. As a group they needed to know the hope of his calling (why Christ chose them), their inheritance and the power they now posses in Him.

Once again today is a good day to know. Find out what is God's  purpose and plan is for your life. Know your Kingdom family  tree. Get the understanding of the power you now posses and how it is used and how it will work for you here in the earth.

God wants the best for our lives. We can only obtain the best when we know what that best is.

Morning Glory ( Instructional Wednesday )

Today on Morning  Glory it was Instructional Wednesday.  Our message  today was " Growth". Our scripture today was 1 Corinthians 13:11.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Today before I get into the inspiration/ blog for today. I would first like to thank all the past and current veterans who have and still serve are country. It is a true blessing to you guys put your lives on the line  for the freedoms we have here in our country. It is my prayer that God continues  to keep  you  and bless you.

As you know Wednesdays are specifically  designed for us to hear from God by the way of instructions. It is so important for you and I to know that God wants us to grow not only grow but grow in him. We should never get to the place in our lives were as a member of the Body of Christ  that we are not growing. Food for thought you should always want to be growing  naturally as well.

In life there are many levels we start from infancy then we go to our youngster stage and then youthful stage, then of course it's the teens stage, then it's the young adult stage and finally then it is the adult stage. At every progression in life you and I are to grow. Well that's the same way as it is being a member of the Body of Christ. When you first got saved according to Romans 10:9 you and I were a babies  in Christ. It is important to understand we cannot stay babies in Christ forever.

As you and I spend time with God we  should be growing. We should be growing from the infancy stage as it relates to spirituality to growing up in spiritual things. Paul says here in 1st Corinthians the 13th chapter and 11th verse, he says, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, when I became a man I put away childish things". As you and I grow in God there are some things you and I just need to stop doing. It is through the Holy Spirit that we grow spiritually. You and I will grow as we maintain our relationship with the Father. As we maintain our relationship with the Father the things  that we were engaged in when we first got saved we are not be engaging in those things any longer.

Right now it is important to understand that growth takes discipline. If you are not operating in a disciplined lifestyle you will not grow. One of the manifestation fruit gifts of the Holy Spirit is temperance, it means to have self-control, restraint, doing things in moderation. It is the Holy Spirit that is the enabler to help you and I to operate in this area. If we are going to grow spiritually we must do it by discipline. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you.

There must be a constant diet of meditation, prayer and reading the Word of God, not directly in that order but all three must be done. Once again if you and I are going to grow in God there must be meditation, prayer and the reading of the Word of God these three will ensure growth. As you meditate on the Word of God while reading the Word of God in prayer you will get instructions from the Holy Spirit that will allow you to grow. Some of the things the Holy Spirit will tell you and I, in our flesh we might not want to do them but because we are yielded to Him and we want to obey the Holy Spirit we will do it and ultimately here comes growth.

I don't know about you but I want to grow I want to grow not just naturally but most importantly spiritually. Paul let's  us know here in our text that growth is a process. When you reach a certain age or time in our natural walk but mostly importantly  our spiritual walk we just have to do it. No more excuses, GROW!!!!!!

Here are the instructions for this Wednesday:

1. Now is the time to grow in God.

2. The seed has been planted in you, bring forth the hatvest.

3. Keep yielding yourself to the Father, he is going to show you things to come.

4. Stop making excuses for the setbacks, use it, it is a tool for growth.

5. The enemy  knows you have changed  your mind  about what he has said about your life. Now is the time  to earnestly  go after what God has said about your life.

6. Different  results  happen when you do things differently. Growth is going to take you having  a different  approach.

7. If you are going to grow pay attention  to the things  that have become a hindrance in your life in the past and move past them.

8. Time is not waiting  on you. What you do with your time really does matter. Don't  waste it.

9. God wants the best for you,  you have to want the best for yourself.

10. Growth always happens in faith

This is what God has spoken, I hope that it blesses you.

Morning Glory ( Relationship Tuesday )

Today on Morning  Glory it was Relationship Tuesday. Our message  today was "Did God Approve Our Connection". Our scripture today was Amos 3:3 and Ephesians 5:31.

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall become one flesh.

Today on Morning Glory of course it was Relationship Tuesday.  Over the past few Tuesdays  we have been dealing with Spiritual Alignment  concerning our relationships.  Our inspiration or blog today deals with the one on one relationship  (marriage) but also every connection people have tied themselves too. It is important  to understand  that every connection must be God centered and sanctioned  by him. There should  never be a time in your life as well in my life that if I am engaged with a person,  place or thing ( a connection ) that I don't  seek the approval  of God. The primary reason that you and I have run into difficulty  concerning our connections or relationships is because we did not acknowledge God first.

It is important to understand that a quality relationship always start with the acknowledgement of God, first. Strangely enough most people do not acknowledge God in the relationship or in the connection until they have already involved themselves in the relationship or the connection. When they  find that there is a disconnect ,they don't agree there's lies the problem. Our scripture lesson for today says in Amos 3:3, How can the two walk together unless they be agreed. It is imperative that you and I understand that fact- finding is important. I didn't say get into somebody's background or  do a background check however I do believe that is important. This time of fact- finding should be a time of finding out core values, foundational truths. If the core values lineup and the foundational truths line up, if there is a community of both parties having a relationship with God, both parties will first acknowledge God. The Proverbs writer says, In all of your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.

It is important that you understand that God wants to  direct your path. He wants to direct your path even in your connections. I want you to know without a shadow of a doubt that in this time of your life even though you have had bad relationships or bad connections you and I can make corrective behavior. If you and I continue to engage in our relationships or connections without consulting Jesus the Christ first, we will continue to have the same results. I want you now to make up in your mind that you are going to acknowledge Jesus the Christ before you intangle yourself in a committed relationship or connection.

Once again in the fact-finding you want to make sure that you are finding out the core values, the foundational things that  you can walk together in as a relates to the kingdom of God. You and I shouldn't engage ourselves with people that are not of the same mind. Yes we might have different denominational backgrounds, yes we might have a different upbringing, yes we might like this or we might like that but what it boils down to is whether or not we have foundational truths and core values in common. These things are necessary for a prosperous, thriving and loving relationship or connection. Once again Jesus needs to approve the connection. When you acknowledg Christ in your relationship or connection you will find out that there will be immediate success because God will begin to show you through the eyes of the Holy Spirit whether or not this person is for you or not for you. The challenge that you and I will face is the challenge of obedience. Will we be willing to obey the God gives and trust that He knows what is best for us.

To the married couple, even if the marriage is not going according to God's original  plan or your plan you can find help through grace even in a troubled  time. I recommend strongly that you go to God and ask for forgiveness, yes forgiveness, then ask the Holy Spirit to take control of your life and marriage and he will do it. It is never to late to ask the Holy Spirit.

Take the time to place a value on your relationship. The value you and I should  place on our relationship is to acknowledge God first by any means necessary.

Morning Glory ( Inspirational Monday )

Today on Morning Glory it was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was, "What Is Your Purpose". Our scripture for today was Ephesians 1:11

In whom also we have an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the council of his own will.

Today on Morning Glory the question was raised: Do you know your purpose for being here in the earth? Do you know the plan  of God for your life?

We all need to know that God has a plan for our lives. As God spoke to Jeremiah," Before I formed the belly of thy mother's  whom, I knew thee and sanctified thee and made thee a prophet". Just like Jeremiah, God already has a plan for your life as well as my life. It is up to you and I to find out what that plan is. As we continue to yield ourselves to God, he will show us his will and purpose for our lives.  The Proverbs  writer says to us, " In all of our ways acknowledge him and he will direct our paths". Scripture teaches us that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. We all have a purpose of being here in the earth. The detours that  we have made in our lives did not disqualify us from the original purpose and plan that God has for our lives, we must readily yield ourselves to the voice of God and watch the manifestation of purpose be developed.

Paul here in our scripture lesson for today is writing  to the church at Ephesus  and he is letting  them know first  that we have an inheritance.  If you are going to know your purpose it is going to start by accepting Jesus Christ. By accepting  Christ  we have access to the Father and everything  that is in Him. We become joint heirs with Him. We have what some would say the title  deed. Paul goes on to explain  that what he is doing now, that it was predestinated  according  to the purpose of God.  Before you and I were born there was a council in heaven already determining  how our lives are going to be. Paul made it clear, yes you might know about my past life but what I am doing now is what I am really suppose  to be doing. Once again the detours  that you and I have made in our lives did not disqualify us from the original purpose and plan  that God has for our lives. As members of the Body of Christ we must yield to the direction of the Holy Spirit concerning our lives so we please Him. Knowing your purpose and operating in it pleases Him.

Purpose is the reason that something is done or created or exist. What are you passionate about? What makes your boat float or your clock tick? In most cases you will find that is where your purpose or you finding  your purpose will start. You nor I are in the earth aimlessly. What you like or what you are passionate about will begin your  journey for finding your true purpose.

If you are not passionate about anything, which would  really  be hard to believe or if you are the type that doesn't  like to do much, ask the Holy Spirit what is your purpose. I would not spend another day without  finding  out what my purpose or the plan of God is for my life. The Holy Spirit  wants to lead and guide you. The Holy Spirit  wants to give you and I the assistance  we need to live effective  and fruitful lives here in the earth.

Morning Glory ( Take of Thursday)

Today on Morning GLORY it was Take off Thursday. Our message today was " God is Going to Make Your Crooked Places Straight ". Our scripture today was  Isaiah 45:2.

I will go before thee, and make thy crooked places straight: I will break pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron.

Our inspiration today started off with a bang. I personally had no idea what God was going to say to us. For the second time  this week  God gave us a prophetic word. God said,"He was going to make every crooked place straight in our lives". God said,"He is going to allow you and I to operate in his original purpose and plan for our lives". God says," That at this time or in this season of our lives we are operating in our season of greatness".

One of the things that we must remember when God speaks a prophetic word, there always is a prerequisite. The prerequisite that God has given you and I for this prophetic word is, we must yield ourselves to Him. It is important to understand that God wants the best for your life as well as for my life. In this prophetic word God says," That I am going to make sure that every crooked place in your life aligns itself to my original purpose and plan". That is good news but it is important that you and I follow the prerequisite you and I must yield ourselves him.

If we yield ourselves to Him, he is going to allow us to experience an alignment that we had nothing to do with. For so long in our lives we have had to deal with things that we should not have had deal with. By default the things that have happened from generation to generation has now indirectly fallen into our lap but God says,"Today I am drawing the line in the sand you are going to have a life filled with direction, the direction is going to be based on what I have said about your life".

Now is the time for you and I to obey the prerequisite. This anointing is for us to yield ourselves to God. If you want to experience God making the crooked places straight your life, you are going to have to obey God and yield yourself to him. God wants us to move into that dimension where he gets complete glory out of our lives. Don't allow yourself to lose focus on the assignment that God has given you. God wants you and I to experience the good life. He wants you and I to experience a life that is filled with His grace and with His glory.

I'm excited about the fact that God says he is going to make our crooked places straight. Ladies and gentlemen we must now consider everything in our lives, that does not align itself to God's original purpose and plan for our life. Say, God I need the Holy Spirit to come in and correct or a line yourself to what you have ordained for my life. Ladies and gentlemen the Holy Spirit is waiting on you and I asked him to come into our lives and in the situations that we cannot handle with human capacity. God wants you and I to move into that dimension in him that he is in control, that he is ordering our footsteps.

Today was a prophetic word on this Take off Thursday. God says," I am going to make the crooked places straight in your life". Allow the Holy Spirit to direct your life. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Allow the Holy Spirit to say and do what He wants to do in your life. You will find out that those things, those detours, those things that have not aligned itself to God's original purpose and plan for your life will suddenly be no longer a part of your testimony. You have yielded to Him. Ladies and gentleman on this Take off Thursday God says,"He is going to make the crooked place is straight in your life". Allow God to anoint you for this  season, yield yourself  to him and watch change come.

Morning Glory ( Instructional Wednesday )

Today on Morning  Glory  it was Instructional Wednesday.  Our message  today was " Living  the God Kind of Life"
Our Scripture today was Galatians 2:20.

I am crucified  with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved  me and gave himself for me.

I am so excited when Wednesday comes. Not that any other day is more special  than the other but Wednesday's Morning  Glory, God gives us specific instructions about our lives as it relates  to what we should  do or not do. It is so amazing what God speaks to us.

God wants you and I to live His kind of life. Paul here in Galatians 2:20 says that he/we was crucified  with Christ. He/we have to deal with what Christ dealt with. Paul goes on to say but he lives/ we live. Paul proclaims it  is  not in and of himself  but it is Christ that lives in him. Christ lives in us once we have accepted  Him as Lord. Paul goes on to declare that the life he/we live, it is by faith in Jesus Christ who  loved him/us and gave his life for him/us.

Paul was right if you and I are going to live the God kind of life it is going to only happen  by accepting His son Jesus Christ. In your spare time read Galatians  2 in its entirety. I promise  it will bless you.  I promise it will help you to see and have a greater appreciation  for why Christ came and the importance  of why we are no longer under the law.

God  wants you and I to live His kind of life. Our culture today has reduced living for God to the bear minimum. Some even have the nerve to suggest  it doesn't  take all of that. If you read Galatians 2 while taking a stroll down your life you will discover  it takes all of that and more.

Live the God kind of life. Don't  compromise. Don't  allow people, places or things to get you off track to where God wants you to be. God wants you and I to live the best possible  life we can in him.

Here are the instructions for this Wednesday :

1. You are in your season of greatness.

2. You are going to operate in the overflow.

3. Your  days of lack or not enough are over.

4. What ever God had put in your heart to do, just  do it.

5. The detours  you made in your life yesterday was to prepare you for what you are  becoming  today.

6. If you look back you are losing and not winning.

7. Always make room  for the anointing,  never do anything without  the presence  of God.

8. You must go through the process so you  never forget were you came from.

9. The results are left up to God when you are walking  in obedience.

10. Listen  to the Holy Spirit,  he is speaking  about every move you make.

11. The time now is to make the  corrective behaviors so you can achieve  maximum  success

12. In this season  you are going to lose  so people it is designed by God

13. Look a little closer , God wants to show you himself  in this.

14. It was meant for evil but God has turned it around for your good.

15. You have been touched by God for the assignment  at hand, engulf yourself  in him.

16. Christ paid it all so you don't  have too, God is waiting  on you to move so he can work  on your behalf.

17. Never  get in grossed with the setback,  it is only a tool for learning

18. Victory is yours right now

Morning Glory ( Relationship Tuesday )

Today on Morning Glory it was Relationship Tuesday. Our message today  was" I tried and it Just Won't Work". Our scripture  today was Mark 11:25-26

And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have an ought against any: that your Father also in heaven  will forgive you of your trespasses. But if you don't  forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

So many times  you and I have run into situations where we have tried to make our connections or relationships work only to find out that they are not working. I believe it is because there is something that we are attracted too or not attracted too that causes the relationship to malfunction. It is because of communication breakdowns, hurts or pains. It is important to understand that in relationships we must always first take a look at ourselves when things are just not going the way they should go, in other words, if they are not in sync.

As a believer it is important to understand and know that God always wants us to look at ourselves first when it comes down to relationships. It is imperative to know that as we face a trial and or tribulation, if we are going through struggles and situations why not take a look at yourself first. I believe that if we take a look at ourselves first, we will find out that there are some things that we have done, have not done or are doing that has caused the relationship to malfunction.

What we need to understand is, self-evaluation is always important. I believe two people are part of the problem in two people are part of the solution. If the  relationship is not working one would have to ask the question, am I operating in love ( Fruit of the Spirit ) and forgiveness. Scripture  teaches  that the two go hand in hand, the are brother and sister.

Yes we need to walk in love and forgiveness. Today I would like to focus on forgiveness. It seems for the most part you and I understand the love aspect even though at times it can be challenging. On the other hand forgiveness seems to be even a greater  challenge.

Our scripture  today  let's  us know that Jesus  himself while speaking to the disciples says that we must forgive. There are many reasons why relationships  don't  work.  The primary  reasons why they  don't work is because of conflict,  hurt, pain, communicating problems and disappointments. Yes,  if the truth be told not all relationships  will work but how we function  in and out of it is so vital. Jesus always looks at the heart first. Forgiveness comes from the heart.

As a member of the Body of Christ, forgiveness has got to be a way of life. If you have tried and it seems the relationship  just isn't  isn't  working,  keeping  in mind there was some negative action that took place, find out if you are operating  in the area of forgiveness. Jesus says here in our text, "If we don't forgive others neither will our Father in heaven forgive us of our trespasses". I understand  this is really  a hard thing to  do at times but ask the Holy Spirit to help you. The Holy Spirit  is waiting  on you and I to ask for the help. In and of itself,  it is almost impossible.

If you are trying to make any relationship  in your life work and it seems like it just isn't
working, evaluate  your heart, are you walking in love but most importantly are you walking in forgiveness?

God wants you I to be in loving, thriving and caring relationships, walking in forgiveness is key.

Morning Glory ( Inspirational Monday )

Today on Morning Glory it is was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was,"Walking In Your Season of Greatness".

Today on Morning Glory we celebrated  our 3rd year doing our Inspiration call.
What an awesome God! For three  years  5 days a week, we have inspiring  those that would dare to get on the line to hear  from God. Many lives have been touched by the Word of God. I am so grateful to God for the experience and the opportunity. It is my desire that we both continue  to grow in the things of God and be inspired by his word. Morning  Glory and is expanding  every  day.

Our  inspiration today was prophetic. The Holy Spirit  spoke to us and told us that this is our season of GREATNESS. Whatever you and I are touching  or are about to touch it is going to be great. There will  be no shortage or lack says  God. You and I will no longer procrastinate or be lazy in this season. God is speeding up the process in your life as well as mine. In the season  you will not be stopped. Manage the message, "In His life is favor". The detours that we took in our lives did not disqualify us for the  promise of God's original purpose and plan that He has. Yes and I are operating  in our season of GREATNESS. Today all day say, "I am operating  in my season of GREATNESS".

Don't  look back move forward, this is great place to be in you.
