Morning Glory ( Inspirational Monday)

Today on Morning Glory, it was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was the " Importance of Real Worship". The scripture for today was John 4:24.

God is a spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The question was raised, How should we really worship?. The reply was simply in spirit and in truth. Christ's road from Judea to Galilee goes through Samaria.
The text gives a lot of information concerning the people factor in the earth but Jesus gives us an understanding about the divine.

As believers you and I must understand our responsibility to WORSHIP. Real worship is when you I identify with the Father spiritually. We must understand that in the presence of God it eliminates the presence of demonic forces. God loves the fact that we praise him but he is more interested in our worship.

Jesus here in our text was dealing with issues concerning the Samaritans and the Jews, there was a strong dislike. Jesus uses the opportunity to show us how our lives should be lived. Our lives should be lived by WORSHIPPING the Father.

We worship the Father in spirit and in truth. There must be s complete understanding of the spirit but the truth is knowing who God is. Praise always thanks God for what he has done but worship acknowledges God for who he is.
When we worship in spirit and in truth we are in his presence and we understand who he is.

Finally, allow the reality of who God is to you to be the reason why you worship in spirit and in truth. Please don't reduce God to a presenter of only things. God is so much more than that. God is sovereign and gracious in every shape form and fashion. Make sure your worship is done in the purest form, it there where God gets glory and honor.
