Morning Glory ( Praise Him Friday)

Today on Morning Glory was Praise Him Friday. Our message today was " Pleasing the Father" Our scripture for the day was Psalms 37:4

Delight thy self also in the Lord; and he will give thee the desires of thine heart.

On this wonderful Friday, on this Praise Him Friday, is your heart to please the Father. David reminds us that if we are delighting the Father or obeying ( one translation says) he will give us our hearts desire. In other words David is saying to us that our main goal is to please God and he will give us what we want.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all if these things will be added unto you says the New Testament writer. It is important that we understand that our sole purpose ought to be to please God. When we please God it opens a door for God to give us exactly what we desire.

Today make your primary purpose in life, to please God. As a believer you should want to make sure the Father is delighted and as he is delighted he will give you the desires of your heart.
