Morning Glory ( Relationship Tuesday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Relationship Tuesday. Our message today was " Going from Relating to Relationship"

Our inspiration started today by God letting us know that we didn't make a mistake. You and I made the right choice by making Jesus our Lord and Savior. Yes, there are times when you and I have felt God wasn't there. We are going through. Things in our lives seem to be going in the wrong direction but God says we didn't make a mistake. We have gone from relating to relationship. Since we are in relationship with him, God says, "Cast your cares on him because he care for you". We did not make a mistake, He will never leave us nor forsake us. Christ says" My yoke is easy and my burdens are light. We have gone from relating to relationship.

Secondly God speaks to us by letting us know that God loves when you recognize who he is. Praise is acknowledging God for what he has done but worship acknowledges God for who he is.  God gets excited when we celebrate who he is. Yes, God is a jealous god. He will not have any other God before him. It is important that you and I know God by his name. Learn the names of God. Never worship without calling God by his name. God gets excited when you call his name in worship. I would never worship the Father without His presence, his presence comes when we call him by his name. Glory to God! You would not answer to anything but your name so why do God any different. As a believer you are not in relating but  in relationship with God.

Finally, on this Relationship Tuesday maintain what remains. When you get misunderstood in the relationship/ connection maintain and salvage  what remains. Don't let misunderstandings terminate the relationship. Our culture really does not agree with the method of  agreeing to disagree. There is never not an emotion that is attached to disagreeing. Build on what is left after the misunderstanding. God wants us to have wholesome, loving and thriving relationship.

No longer relating but relating but relationship!!!
