Morning Glory ( Take off Thursday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Take off Thursday. Our message today was "Make Up Your Mind". Our scripture today was Ephesians 2:1-13.

Today's presentation started with a review of what the Holy Spirit shared with us during the course of the week. God shifted our conversation with him. The Holy Spirit instructed us that now is the time that we must make up our minds. It is decision time. Choose you this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord says our brother Joshua. Another writer proclaims, " I would rather you be either hot or cold, if you are luke warm or will spit you out of my mouth". It is time to make the decision to the fact we are SAVED and we cannot look or at act like the world.

Our text gives us a clear understanding of what we were and what we should be now. Paul here is speaking to the church of Ephesus. Paul constantly reminds us that the flesh is not our friend. The devil wants you to honor your legitimate feelings in a illegitimate way. Our flesh goes against the Kingdom of God. As a believer we are in a constant battle between what is right and what is wrong. I must know that the Holy Spirit is my leader and guider. If I allow him to take control he has everything I need.

Don't get to the place where you start categorising sin. There is no big sin or little sin. However sins do carry different punishments or penalties. The reality of it all is that we should fight against sin, it only happens by activating the presence of God in our lives. Yes, the Holy Spirit should be requested to take control of every part of our life. Please take the time to invite him in. The Holy Spirit wants to show you and I that because we have excepted Christ as Lord in our lives we can handle and overcome anything. It is imperative that we make up our minds to allow him to take control of our lives.

God loves you. Stop making excuses for the why or why not and believe God has everything you and I need to be presented faultless to the Father. Make up your mind to serve Christ and don't look back regardless who likes it or doesn't like it.

If you decide to Turn Up make sure it is for Christ.
