Morning Glory ( Take off Thursday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Take Off Thursday. Our message today was " It Is All About Joy". Our scripture today was again Galatians 5:22-23

Our study this week has been on the fruits of the Spirit. According to scripture there are nine fruits of the Spirit. The first fruit gift we went over was the fruit gift love. We discovered not that the fruit gift love is the primary fruit gift but it is the gift that drives them all. If the manifestation of the love gift is applied the other eight gifts of the fruit of the Spirit are easily obtained.

As mentioned in previous blogs/ inspirations I have explained to you that the primary gift of the Holy Spirit is to lead and guide us. Yes, there are other administrations of the Holy Spirit but the primary operation is to lead and guide us. As a believer the fruits of the Spirit must be applied so that we can live effectively here in the earth. There is nothing good in our flesh. The law of sin and death is no longer for us. It is by grace that we are saved, it is a gift from God. The fruits of the Spirit help aid in all areas of our lives. There is no excuse why we cannot be effective if we apply these manifestation gifts.

Our fruit gift today is JOY. The Word of God tells us that the "Joy of the Lord us our strength". Joy is never an emotion driven by any human element, however you can have a joyous time from something that has taken place in the earth.. Joy is a spiritual emotion. Joy comes when what God has said is revealed to us. In other words, I get joy when I understand the revelation of God's word. Anything spoken by God, anything read in His word brings us joy. Stop trying to be happy. Happiness is always based on human gratification or pleasures that support a smile. If the conditions change then of course I lose my smile.

Life should always bring us moments of Joy. It is in the operation of the fruit gift Joy that I am able to understand that being happy is just a mere substitute. When I recognize the revelation of what God has said it brings Joy. Always pray for revelation, it will bring great Joy in your life.
