Morning Glory ( Inspirational Monday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was "The Spirit of Meekness". Our scripture today was Galatians 5:22-23...

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, gentleness, faith. Meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.....

Well if you have following Morning Glory via the call or this blog you know we have been dealing with the manifestation fruit gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has given us nine manifestation fruit gifts to govern our lives. It is important that you and I make sure that we employ the Holy Spirit in every of our life where human capacity has been reached. It is important that we understand the Holy Spirit wants to come along side and help us. The primary reason for the Holy Spirit is to lead us and guide us into all truth. We need the Holy Spirit to govern our life.

As we today continued our study on the manifestation fruit gifts of the Holy Spirit we come to the ninth gift temperance. Temperance is doing something in moderation, to have self restraint or self control.

So often times you and I have been guilty of the lack of self control or not being able to do things in moderation. It is important to know once again that you and I have no excuse. The manifestation fruit gifts give us the help and the directions we need to be able to combat any and all desires that go against God's original plan for our lives.

The flesh is an enemy to the Spirit, it is not your friend. It is important that we understand that we need the assistance of the Holy Spirit to have temperance. Employ the manifestation fruit gift temperance in every situation of your life where you are not strong enough to control.
