Morning Glory (Take Off Thursday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Take off Thursday. Our message today was "You Need to Know". Our scripture today was Ephesians 1:18 -19.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened,  that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.

Today on this Take off Thursday you and I need to know. What do we need to know? We need to know the hope of his calling concerning  our lives and why Jesus came. What do we need to know? We need to know what our inheritance is as a believer in the Body of Christ. What do we need to know? We need to know the greatness of his power that we posses, through the working of  his mighty power.

Today is a good day to get the wisdom of God as to why you and I are apart of the Kingdom of God. It is so important that you and I understand why Christ came, why he died for us and ultimately will soon return for us. We also need to know what is our Kingdom assignment, you and I need to know our purpose.

Once you and I have accepted Christ we go from relating to relationship. It is in the relationship that we understand who Christ is and how the workings of the Holy  Spirit  help us to be all that we can be in him. If we don't  know the benefits  or better yet our inheritance  we are not maximizing  our fullest  potential  here in the earth while serving the saviour.

Paul speaking here to the church at Ephesus, his desire was for them to know. Paul wanted then to be enlightened, in other words he wanted them to know why He called them, their inheritance because of the call, and the exceeding greatness of his power to the saints. Just like Paul I want you to be full of understanding, I want you to know your  purpose, your inheritance and how powerful you are as a believer or better yet a member of the Body of Christ.

Parents want their children to know their name, where they live, where they came from, who their grandparents are, who their cousins are, aunts,  uncles.....etc. They want to make sure that as a parent  their child knows their inheritance and what they need to do to carry on the family name. No doubt this is what Paul was trying to convey to the church at Ephesus. As a group they needed to know the hope of his calling (why Christ chose them), their inheritance and the power they now posses in Him.

Once again today is a good day to know. Find out what is God's  purpose and plan is for your life. Know your Kingdom family  tree. Get the understanding of the power you now posses and how it is used and how it will work for you here in the earth.

God wants the best for our lives. We can only obtain the best when we know what that best is.
