Morning Glory (Inspirational Monday )

Today on Morning Glory it was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was " Intimate Worship ". Our scripture today was John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

As we fastly approach the day we call  Christamas, it is a time that people come together and share love. Unfortunately it is also  a time that people  find themselves alone, depressed,  sad and frustrated  because they don't have resources they would need to purchase items for their love ones. We must take into consideration that the season is not about gift giving but about the gift giver.

God gave us the perfect gift, his son Jesus Christ. Yes the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth according to John 1:14. In this time that is set aside to recognize the birth of Christ it is more important that we set aside of intimacy with him, a time to worship.

Our inspiration this morning lead us to the place of worship. When we get into the presence of God something  special happens. The real gift has already been given and that is the gift of Christ, you and I participate in the gift giving by giving to others,  it is the act or actions that resemble  that same kind of love that God showed us through his son. The focus of this season should always be about Christ.

Find time today to spend moments with the Father. Find time today to be Intimate with him. Today let Christ know that you appreciate  that he came, he died, he rose again and that he is soon to return.  Spend time today appreciating who he is and not so much for what he does. God gets great pleasure when we know something  that exist in his character like Jehovah Jireh  ( the God that will provide), Jehovah Shalom  (the God of peace) just to name a few. We worship him for who he is, we praise him for what he does.

Once again God gave us the perfect gift, he gave us his only begotten son, that if we just believe in him we would not perish but have everlasting life.  I don't know about you but that is reason enough to spend intimate time with him, WORSHIP!!!
