The Mind of Christ ( Morning Glory - Inspirational Monday )

Today on Morning Glory it was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was "The Mind of Christ". Our scripture today was Philippians 2:5.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

Today on Morning Glory it was Inspirational Monday. Our message today was about having the right kind of mind. The right kind of mind consist of having the mind of Christ. In our scripture for today,  Paul is saying," Let this mind be in you which was  also in Christ Jesus." We must have the mind of Christ.  We cannot conduct  ourselves like the world. We cannot  think like the world,  talk like the world, or be apart of worldly activities. As a believer we are in the world but not of it.

When you and I received Christ as our Lord and Saviour, it was a free gift. However, change or deliverance is a process. If you and I are to have the mind of Christ, it will take constantly meditating on the Word of God and prayer. It is through both actions that there is a mind change. Yes, we change our mind by staying in fellowship with the Father.

I personally know to well what it is like to try to be one way in church but when I left I found myself acting another way. I still was saved but I didn't  have a mind change. At that point in my life, I had only given God my heart but not a committed life to walk and talk as He would have me too, away from the church. If you are honest with yourself you probably have done the same thing. We can no longer be pretenders, either we are going to be who we say we are or not. It is important that you and I get to the place that we want to change for God. It really  isn't about man it is about God but by default man is watching. Our life should be about pleasing God. Our life should  be about serving in the Kingdom and serving with the mind of Christ.

Many years ago slogan came out, " What Would Jesus Do." Imagine what the world would be like if every Christian responded like Christ, what a world this would be. There must be a mind change. We must adopt a thinking that  I must have the mind of Christ. When operate using the mind of Christ, that the principles of God's Word we find ourselves living better lives
Our lives become complete in Him.

Take the time today and practice training your mind. Today don't allow any negative thought, idea or action to have residence in your mind, rebuke it in Jesus name. Allow the Holy Spirit to show you how manage wholesome thinking. It is a true saying, " The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Get the mind of Christ and you will ultimately have a better life. God wants the best for you, you and I need to want the best for ourselves.
