Living Life on Purpose

Today on Morning Glory it was Take Off Thursday.  Our message today was living on " Living on Purpose." Our scripture for today was Colossians 1:15-16.

Who in the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities,  or powers: all things were created by him and for him.

What did God put me here for? I am sure that along with me, you have asked yourself that same question. It might be thoughts of your future, the uncertainty of your plans, or even your next step. My brothers and sisters even if you don't know your plans or know what is in your future please know that God knows.

God has a plan for the entire world. God has a plan for you. He understands that plan thoroughly and he completely knows you as stated. In the book of Jeremiaha God says, " I know the plans that I have for you they are good and not evil, to give you hope to an expected end. Right now is a good time to ask God to reveal His plans for your life. He will make His plans known to you in His own time and in His own way. It is important that you yield yourself to Him so that He can show you the way and the paths that you should take concerning your life. You and I must live our lives on purpose. There must be a destination but embracing the journey is paramount.

Ask yourself right now, do I seek to discover God's purpose and plan for my life? If the answer is yes, then you must yield yourself to God. If you don't know your purpose or plan for your life start by asking the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you. If you don't know the purpose and plan for your life you must have the faith that God will reveal it to you. Conform to the will God.

Know that even if the picture is unclear right now as you spend more time with God, he makes the picture clear. Be patient in seeking the purpose and plan for your life. God knows, and as you spend more time with Him you will know. Make sure that God is control of your life and He will reveal to you the purpose for your life. Ricky Warren says, " The greatest tragedy is not death, but to live without pupose."

Today make the most of your time and live on purpose......
