Getting Different Results (Morning Glory - Instructional Wednesday)

Today on Morning Glory it was Instructional Wednesday. Our message today was "Getting Different Results." Our scripture today Philippians 2:5.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ JESUS.

If you have been following me any length of time you know that Wednesday is an exciting day for me. I love everyday but Wednesday is instructional on Morning Glory, it specifically designed to hear from God. The true reality, that you and I must understand, we should be wanting to hear from God all of the time. There should never be a time in your life as well as in my life that we are not in a constant communication with the God. God wants to lead and guide us, we must let him.

Today on Morning Glory, God spoke to us concerning "the healed land " which Solomon speaks of in 2 Chronicles 7:14. God began to tell us that if we are going to alleviate demonic activity in our life it is going to take seeking the face of God. It is vitally important that you and I stay in the presence of God. One writer put it best by saying," in the presence of God there is fullness of joy and life ever more." Seeking the face of God affords us the opportunity to know the original purpose and plan that God has for our life. When we seek the face of God we go from relating to relationship. Never get to the place that you try to fit God in your schedule. God is your schedule. The carnal mind is a enemy to God. There must be a mind change to insure different results.

There should not be anything that you and I engage in without consulting with God. Solomon reminds us again that in all of our ways acknowledge him and he would direct our path. Whatever it is that you and I need, when we are in the presence of God, he reveals it to us.

Getting different results will require you I and staying in the face of God. Change once again starts always in the mind. Staying in the presence of God will always produce different results.

Here are the three instructions that God gave us today.

1. Stay in the presence of God
    A. By Prayer
    B. Fasting
    C. Meditation
    D. Worship and Praise

2. Seeking the face of God limits the ability and the capacity to operate in wicked activity.

3. Learn to wait on God. He renews your strength while you wait.

I want to get different results in my life. I am tired of making the same mistakes over and over again, how about you? If we are going to get different results it starts by seeking the face of God.
